GCSACC Membership Classifications: Class A Member (Golf Course Superintendent) – any person of good character who at time of application for membership has served as a Golf Course Superintendent for more than three years and is currently employed in such a capacity. Pay full price for dues and full price for meetings. Class B Member (Golf Course Superintendent) – any person of good character who at time of application for membership has less than three years’ experience as a Golf Course Superintendent for and is currently employed in such a capacity. Pay full price for dues and full price for meetings. Class C Member (Assistant Golf Course Superintendent) – any person of good character who at time of application for membership is currently employed as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Pay full price for dues and full price for meetings. Affiliate Member – any individual employed by a reputable turf and/or equipment supply company or business affiliated with the production of fine turf, and/or any individual with the production of fine turf, and/or any individual who solicits capital gain for services from the general membership of this Association. These individuals must obtain a majority of their gross income from turf-related business. Pay full price for dues and full price for meetings. Honorary Member – any individual who the Board recognizes for their contributions and/or achievements for the advancement of this Association or related fields. Dues are waived and full price for meetings. Life Member – any voting member of this Association for 25 years who retires; becomes disabled or is deemed eligible for this honor by the Board of Directors. Dues are waived and discounted price for meetings. Retired Member - Any GCSACC class A, B, C, or Affiliate member and any GCSAA or affiliated chapter member that is at least age 55, retired and no longer seeking employment within the scope of existing membership classes of the GCSACC can submit a standard application. Pay 50% of dues and full price for meetings. Inactive Member – any individual who, by reason of employment, illness or other adverse circumstances, has requested this class upon his or her application. The Board of Directors shall have the authority to act on such application and to place a member on Inactive status subject to terms and conditions as the Board of Directors may specify by Standing Rules. Dues and meeting fees are at the discretion of the Board of Directors. |
